The Managing Director of STIL, Mr. Geoff Hyde, has been contracted as the Course co-ordinator and sessional lecturer to develop and deliver the Marketing Management unit within the MBA program.

Fiji National University, 2010

The Managing Director of STIL, Mr. Geoff Hyde, assisted with curriculum development of specialist tourism subject units in their new business degree programs.

Work Bridge Fiji Employment Training Progra, 2009

Owned, developed and managed by STIL, this is an employment preparation, coaching and mentoring program aimed at school leavers, jobless university graduates and the longer term unemployed. A series of seminars focus on; assessment of resumes, job interview techniques and critiques, business networking opportunities, and work placements. The program has been adopted at various times by the Ministry of Youth and the Ministry of Education.

Great Suva Tours Business Development Training Program, 2009

Ministry of Youth funded under the National Youth Support Scheme (NYSS). STIL helped establish, develop and deliver training programs in Suva, Nadi and Lautoka. The Great Suva Tours Business Development Program aims to recruit and train youth to become self-employed in their own SME tourism businesses. STIL is linking this training program with the various village based ecotourism programs and projects.

University of the South Pacific Ecotourism Courses, 2008

STIL was commissioned by USP’s Regional Community and Continuing Education Centre to develop an eight unit Ecotourism Business Operators Course and a six unit Village Environmental Rangers Program.  The courses were developed and trialled by STIL in local villages in 2008 and are now being offered to the 14 Pacific Island participating countries.
