Identification and assessment of cultural, heritage and nature sites for ecotourism development, including a forest preservation order for a ‘Nature Birdwalk’ and a marine protected area.

2009 to 2010, Nataleira Village, Tailevu, Viti Levu

Re-development of Natalei Eco-Lodge, Eco-Tours and Community Training Centre. Refurbishment and reconstruction of accommodation and central facilities, re-establishment of the ecotourism business, establishment of ‘on-site’ training programs for local villagers, surrounding village communities and school, sport, youth, church, business and community groups from Suva.

2009, Tikina Naviti (4 villages) Naviti Is. Yasawas

GEF planning proposal and funding submission for Marine Conservation and Ecotourism Project. Linkages with Botaira Eco-Resort through conservation training programs.

2008, Malomalo Village, Nadroga

Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) funded Ecotourism Business Plan and Training Workshops for SME linkages with the neighbouring Intercontinental Natadola Beach Resort and Coral Coast Hotels.

2008 to 2009, Waya Lailai Is., Yasawas

Business and Investment Plan for Fiji Development Bank funded Naqalia Eco-Resort development and GEF funded training workshops.

2008, Tikina Wai (6 villages), Nadroga

WWF/Global Environment Facility (GEF) funded Business plan and training workshops for mangrove restoration, reviving traditional salt making business and developing ecotourism operations.
